Speech Language Pathology

Amanda Hoppenrath,MHS, CCC-SLP has been serving the southwest suburbs of Chicago since 1999. Shortly after graduating, she began working in the school setting, servicing children from early childhood through eighth grade. She has experience in treating a wide array of speech and language problems. One of her areas of focus was working with autistic, cerebral palsy and Down Syndrome children. She has experience in several augmentative communication systems such as communication boards, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), and other electronic communication devices. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the Illinois Speech-Language Hearing Association.
